Shore Casino Wedding

This Shore Casino Wedding featured one of the most amazing couples you will ever meet.  Having a couple like this made this Shore Casino wedding much more enjoyable to photograph.  From the moment I met these two, I knew we were a perfect match.  Ana and Alex are meant to be together, there is no question.  The day had Ana getting ready at the beautiful Molly Pitcher inn before we headed to a church in the Atlantic Highlands.  From there we headed to Sandy Hook for some portraits.  We lucked out with the weather as it did begin to pour during our family formals at the church.  Finally we headed to the Shore Casino for the wild finish off this Shore Casino Wedding.  For more on these to kids…check out the blurb from the bride!

We met on a dating sight…..

Alex was looking for someone to just do things with – not a relationship.

I was looking for my special someone.

He first saw my picture in November 2013 and emailed me to see if we could “try this out and make a go of it”.  Our first conversation was on Nov 16, 2013 – talking on the phone for 3 hours… a very comfortable, no-silence type of conversation.  So, we decided to meet for lunch the next day and went to Huddy’s in Colts Neck, NJ.  Making Nov 17, 2013 our first date.   We didn’t want to end the date and that is when I suggested taking a ride to the water.  We ended up @ Marine Park in Red Bank and just walked around, spending time sitting on a bench enjoying the view.  That is where our first kiss was.  A moment in time that to this day – makes me blush when I think about it.   We connected so easily that it became apparent to Alex that this was not just going to be “someone to just do things with”.

By spring of 2014 we both knew we would be together forever.   Then, one night while he was cooking dinner for me, a song came on the radio that we both would sing whenever we heard it and that’s when he said “you know…. When we get married this will be our wedding song”.

On October 22, 2016 – while out to dinner with my family (families are very important to both Alex and I) – Alex decided it was a good opportunity to ask my 2 brothers for their permission to marry me.  He had asked my mother earlier, since my father had passed a few years before.  I was not expecting that to happen that night.  Even though we knew we would be getting married that was not planned – but it was the start of a journey we both had been waiting a long time for.

We got engaged shortly after, in the privacy of my home.  Since I’m not a big attention type person – it was perfect.  Just him and I, end of a night relaxing at home, he got on one knee and asked me to be his bride.

Planning our wedding was one of the most enjoyable times in my life.  I knew the theme I wanted…. Beach / Summer.  My bridal party, All 13 of our nieces/nephews, with his children, along with very special friends, helped me plan in so many ways and in making this day so memorable. Everything fell into place, getting married in the church that I grew up going to – Having the reception in the Shore Casino (something I had dreamt about since I was little), at the harbor of the town I grew up in  – Pictures @ the Beach (such perfect weather for it with such a great photographer) – Family and Friends from all over, coming to see our special day and dance the night away!  I am blessed with such beautiful/kind people in my life and it became more apparent over this past year. I wish I could live it all over again. ”

What amazing Insight!  Thank you again!  Now…time for the fun part.   Enjoy the photos from this Shore Casino Wedding!
