Many times couples struggle coming up with backyard wedding ideas, and I understand why.  Planning a wedding is already hard enough, but now creating the venue out of your backyard is even tougher.  Frank and Hisako had wonderful backyard wedding ideas which they implemented perfectly.  Hisako let her creativity shine here, as all of the details were created by her.  On this day, it was a bit warm but overall it was a gorgeous day.  This backyard wedding took place five minutes from my home in Matawan, NJ which made it all that more delightful to photograph.  I started photographing some details before the ceremony.  There were only about 20 or 30 guests, so it was an intimate affair.  The ceremony was beautiful as Hisako walked down the isle with her pooch!  It was a quick ceremony and then we headed to Lake Lefferts in Matawan.  There were a few fisherman who were kind enough to let us take some photos on the dock.  I'm pretty sure I scared away whatever fish were roaming the dock though :).  Hisako wanted some epic "bad ass" style portraits by her jeep and a front loader nearby which I gladly took.  After the portraits were headed back to their place for their first dance.  I don't get to photograph backyard weddings that often, but when I do I always have a great time. I hope this blog post helps any couples looking for great backyard wedding ideas! Frank and Hisako, congratulations again and I hope you enjoy the photos! I hope everyone enjoyed this backyard wedding by one of New Jersey's best wedding photographers Delgado Studios  I am a fine art and documentary wedding photographer based out of Middletown, NJ.  Currently I am servicing all of New Jersey, Eastern PA and NYC.
