Beach Haus Brewery Wedding | Meredith and Kevin

When Meredith and Kevin inquired for me to photograph their Beach Haus Brewery wedding, my curiosity was immediately piqued. These days I am finding there are more non traditional wedding days to photograph. By non-traditional, I mean not starting the day with bride/groom prep or worry about a first look, etc. On this day, we had just that.

We started the day photographing the portraits. The day was riddled by ominous clouds. Normally when we have rain, we can utilize the venue as a backup plan for some indoor photos. However, we did not have access to the venue until later in the day. When I met up with Meredith and Kevin, it was already raining. Now I typically bring a white golf umbrella which I love to use for some lit portraits. The big issue here however was, where on earth can we go for the family photos? I then remembered the covered sections of the Spring Lake boardwalk. This turned out to be a HUGE win. Now we did shoot a bit around the grounds of Divine Park before we headed out to the northern pavilion.

Once we arrived at the pavilion, we had to deal with another wedding party that had the same idea. This wedding party however, may have been the loudest and drunkest bridal party I have ever witnessed. We managed to battle through the copious amounts of noise these lovely, heavily intoxicated individuals were creating. We got a good laugh out of the situation once it was all over.

Once we were done with the portraits, we headed to the Beach Haus Brewery where the ceremony commenced. The ceremony was short and sweet. Once it was over, we went inside the brewery for some interesting lit photos.

The reception itself was different than any other I have photographed. There was no dancing here, but lots of games. From a giant Connect Four to endless cornhole. The guests were all thoroughly entertained. I for one enjoyed photographing these two. Their friend and family were also excellent to work with. PLUS, it was a day wedding so I was done by 3PM! I phone everyone enjoys these photos taken by NJ’s top wedding photographers, Delgado Studios.
