Liberty State Park Engagement Photos | Jonathan and Andrea

Jonathan and Andrea decided they wanted some Liberty State Park Engagement photos for their E-Session, and you can't go wrong with this location.  These two are lots of fun to photograph, but for more on how they met, here is a blurb from Andrea:

The year was 2008, John was on a road trip with his best friend (best man) Lorne for spring break. They were headed to FL. but didn't make it due to bad weather. His friend Lorne had met my best friend Melisa (maid of honor)  on spring break the year prior in FL. as well. Lorne called Melisa and said they were going to stop off in KY, and wanted to hang out. So, she calls me up and says I'm coming to hang with her and these Jersey boys. I was not in the mood to meet these strange guys from NJ..... but, she talked me into it. I was still at work, when she stopped into my job,the guys showed up as well, and she pointed me out from across the way. John tells me now, when he saw me he was blown away! Long story short, he actually didn't like me at first. But, we hit it off, and started talking. We were in a long distance relationship for a year in a half. I finished college at the University of Kentucky, and moved to NJ. We've now been together for 7.5 years!

February 14th 2014, we met up with another couple Gabby and Eric (bridesmaid, and groomsman), and ordered curb-side pick-up from some restaurants. We were having a nice low-key dinner at their house, and the guys said they had to get our valentines day gifts out of the cars. My girlfriend Gabby kept me distracted of course by chit chatting. The guys came back in and were empty handed; I was so confused??? Gabby then said, "Oh I need to walk Jeter (their dog) really quick!" So, of course I was going with her. I walk outside with her and down their stoop which goes to the right of their door, and down some steps to the side walk. She then stops and ran back inside leaving me by myself standing on the side walk. I was clueless, and dumbfounded. I then turned around and saw the snow filled yard with green and red writing all over it. It read, "Will you marry me?" I was like what???? Is this for real???? I walked back up the steps in disbelief, and peered into the door. Standing there holding a small black box with a ring in it was John. I was so shocked! I always thought I'd cry, but I couldn't even believe it. I just jumped on him into a bear hug, and said, "YES!"
