Allaire state park has been a very popular spot for me this year, and why not? Nice back drops, nice scenery and an overall peaceful area. Keeko and her husband were so great to work with, and their little man Landon was even better. The biggest challenge of the day was keeping his runny nose clean! He had a nice burst of energy towards the end of the session which is not common. I was not complaining! I wound up using some high powered lighting to create many of these photos. This is something pretty rare in family photography but definitely creates a unique look. Part of being modern family photographers in NJ is to separate my work from the pack, and I'm hoping I did just that.
