Wedding Photos at Princeton University

Erika and G’s wedding portraits at the iconic Princeton University campus were nothing short of magical. I must start out by stating that this was a bridal session only. No wedding. There are too many fake wedding photos out there which photographers like to pass that on as real wedding images. This was a dedicated wedding portrait session. No wedding day stress. Just 90 minutes of pics. With that said, they are not models yet a real couple, and we deal with REAL scenarios unlike a stylized photoshoot. Now lets move on..

Despite the overcast skies and occasional drizzle, the soft lighting created a romantic atmosphere, perfect for capturing the love and connection between the couple. The overcast weather provided a natural, diffused light that made every moment look timeless and elegant. As a New Jersey wedding photographer I have photographed plenty of weddings here.

The Princeton University campus, with its historic buildings and lush greenery, offers endless backdrops for stunning wedding photography. Erika and G looked absolutely radiant as they strolled through the cobblestone paths, the slight rain adding a touch of drama to their portraits without dampening their spirits. Their love was the perfect contrast to the moody skies, making every photo feel intimate and cinematic.

One of the standout locations was the Princeton University Chapel, an architectural masterpiece that provided a breathtaking backdrop for some truly remarkable shots. The grandeur of the chapel’s gothic arches, stained glass windows, and intricate details perfectly complemented Erika and G’s elegant wedding attire. Inside, the soft light pouring through the stained glass added an ethereal glow, enhancing the romantic and sacred vibe of their wedding portraits.

We took full advantage of creative lighting techniques throughout the session. From the soft natural light filtering through the clouds to the dramatic, artistic lighting inside the chapel, we used various methods to bring out the best in each shot. The interplay of light and shadow added depth and dimension to the photos, making Erika and G’s love story shine even brighter.

The result was a beautiful collection of wedding portraits that captured not only the architecture and history of Princeton University but also the genuine emotion and connection between Erika and G. This shoot serves as a perfect example of how even a bit of rain can add a unique and memorable touch to a wedding day.
