Here it is, day 3 of Sonia and Rav's beautiful Indian wedding.  Weddings at the Capitale NYC are typically stunning.  This venue is easily one of the nicest venues I have ever photographed, as you will see below.  The night went by so fast, it was unbelievable.  Once again, another amazing set of performers were flown in to add on to the festivities (Drumline).  During much of the dancing, I decided to take these two away from the craziness for a few minutes and take some beautiful evening environmental portraits.  With a venue like this, how could I NOT?  Sonia and Rav's family were such a joy to work with through out the whole event, and for that I am grateful.  Now as far as the these two go, Sonia and Rav's relationship is pretty special.  I asked Sonia to give me a quick blurb regarding how they met and the wedding planning: 

"Rav and I got engaged in April 2014 in Costa Rica after 7 years of dating - it was a magical start to our wedding planning journey. We spent the next year and a half planning the wedding weekend of our dreams. Rav and I share similar tastes and we both wanted the wedding events to reflect these - glamorous venues, attention to details, killer outfits, elegant decor, and delicious foods were high-priority for us. Luckily, we had the support of our amazing parents to host this wedding! We planned 5 home events in the week leading up to our wedding ceremony and 2 receptions. Our pre-wedding reception was held at the beautiful Mandarin Oriental Hotel in NYC across the way from Central Park. We knew we wanted to book this location as soon as we saw the floor to ceiling views of New York City from the 36th floor ballroom! Our Anand Karaj (Sikh Wedding Ceremony) was held at the Bridgewater Gurudwara (Sikh Place of Worship) in Bridgewater, NJ. The bright white architecture, inside and out, was the perfect contrast to our colorful outfits and floral decor. Our final event was the reception held at The Capitale in NYC. An old bank, converted into a gorgeous ballroom with huge, high columns served as the perfect setting to celebrate our wedding. It was a grand finale to our perfect wedding week - filled with the most fun dance party with our closest family and friends! Joe and his team were by our side throughout the weekend capturing our special moments-- they made sure to get us through lengthy shotlists, and produced some of the most creative shots, using as much natural light as possible. It was a pleasure to work with Joe -- he made the experience super fun and comfortable."
