Winter Weddings at the Jersey Shore
Winter Weddings at the Jersey Shore are always lots of fun, and also a challenge. The lack of daylight and cold temperatures are not on my side, but having amazing clients is a big plus. On this cold day in January, Amanda was determined to go outside for some bridal portraits and shots of the girls...who are from San Diego. Safe to say, they were out of their comfort zone. Well I'm glad to report the girls were troopers and we wound up getting some pretty winter themed images. Kyle and his Navy buddies were also great to work with, and thankfully the who day went off without a hitch. Amanda and Kyle's relationship is one that is special indeed. Special thanks to my talented friend Marianne for second shooting this. As NJ top Wedding Photographers , we always gave a blast. Now for a few words from Amanda on how they met:
"Kyle and I met, exactly one year prior to the day we walked down the aisle. I was bartending at a sports bar. He saw me behind the bar amongst total chaos with the biggest smile across my face and not a worry in the world. After a few failed attempts, I finally let him take me out. We spent a day on the beach with my pup and never spent more than 24hrs apart from each other from that point on. A game of pickup basketball is our idea of a perfect date. Once I saw his effortless jump shot, I was hooked for life! We married our best friend inside and I out. I tell people all the time, had we not been so romantically attracted to each other Kyle would still be my best friend. We have the simple things in common and that makes us the perfect team to handle anything else. Including planning a wedding in less than 6months. We recruited the help of my mother and father who live across the country in San Diego, as well Kyle's parents down south in Virginia beach. Two kids who grew up beachside promised forever to each other knee deep in snow! Truly the perfect winter wonderland for a fairytale love story!"
