Addison Park Wedding | Peter and Christina

Peter and Christina’s wedding was amazing.   So far all of my Addison Park Weddings have been lots of fun to photograph.   Peter is the brother of Elizabeth, an awesome bride who’s wedding I was lucky enough to photograph a couple of years back.  As a documentary wedding photographer , I take pride in being referred time and time again by my previous clients.  Well fast forward to 2017, Elizabeth is preggo with her second baby and her bro it making it official.   We started with bride prep at the home Christina grew up in.  Whenever I get the chance to photograph bride prep in the childhood home, I like to have her walk through the neighborhood where she grew up playing in.  I find the nostalgic stroll to be great to wedding photos.   The ceremony took place at a beautiful church in Metuchen.   We headed to Addison park for the portraits.  Like other Addison Park Weddings I have photographed, I always try to find spots for creative wedding portraits that are different than the norm.  This wedding was no different.  After portraits is was time to party….and what a party it was.  Now for more on these two newlyweds, here is a blurb about the couple:

“Peter and Christina met in late 2012 through mutual friends. At first they were hesitant to start

dating as they didn’t want to mess up their friendship, but they took a chance and started

dating in September 2013.

They were together for just over two and a half years when Peter proposed on June 10, 2016.

It was a Friday night, Christina and Peter had plans with some friends. At the last minute the

plans were cancelled, so they decided to head down to Point Pleasant and play mini-golf, one

of their favorite things to do in the summer. After a game of mini-golf, they took a walk on the

boardwalk and ended it by taking a seat on a bench. After talking for a few minutes, Peter got

down on one knee and asked Christina to marry him.

From the beginning of the wedding planning process, they knew two things, they wanted to get

married at the church Christina grew up in and they wanted their wedding date to be their

dating anniversary. Luckily for them, they were able to book the church for September 23,

2017, their four-year dating anniversary, and found the perfect reception venue in Addison

Park. At the end of it all, they had an amazing wedding and could not have asked for anything

more.”

Thanks for the insight you two!  I hope everyone enjoys the photos!
