Sparkler exit at wedding

If you've never been to and Aldie Mansion Wedding before, I can tell you that it is an amazing place to get married.  Marissa and Brian used the mansion to get ready and for their reception.  The mansion is loaded with exquisite details, beautiful wooden accents and lots of history.  There's also this enormous tree in the patio which is completely lit up and makes for great photos. Now on to the main event.  These two newlyweds were amazing to work with on their wedding day.   The both of them got dressed at the mansion and then headed to a church nearby for their ceremony.  There were some limiting photographic restrictions at church but nothing we couldn't overcome.  Their ceremony was beautiful and ended right before sunset.  We managed to use the little daylight we had left for the family photos and bridal party.  The Bride and Groom portraits however were at night.  With some creative lighting and a willing couple, we wound up with some fantastic images.  I hope I get the opportunity to photograph another Aldie Mansion Wedding at some point.  I think I can photograph 10 different Aldie Mansion Weddings and they would all look completely different, thats how great this location is.Now for a little backstory on how these two met, here is a little blurb from the bride:"The prospect of month upon month of fieldwork in remote places has led to some interesting evolutionary peculiarities among this species (geologists). Amidst only rocks and alcohol, with often long dark nights eliminating the possibility of the former, and leaving only the latter, resourceful geologists fill their time intermingling with other geologists (Uncylcopedia)." As such, two young geologists were hired at the same consulting firm only two months apart, and officially met 11 months later.. in the field of course. The rest, as they say, is history. After 15 months of wedding planning which was rather stress free until the last 4 weeks, Marissa and Brian were married on March 12. They are currently enjoying their long overdue and much needed 3 week vacation, observing the geology in Antigua and Hawaii"Thanks for the write up Marissa and I hope everyone enjoys the photos!! Special thanks to Steve Kang or second shooting this one with me!  I hope you enjoyed this Aldie Mansion Wedding by NJ Wedding Photographer Delgado Studios.  I am a fine art and documentary wedding photographer based out of Central New Jersey.  Currently I am photographing weddings in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York.  I am also available for destinations weddings as well.
