With dozens of other people also taking refuge from the rain, the scene became even more magical. Amid the sound of rain pounding on the roof and the quiet buzz of onlookers, Sean dropped to one knee. The look on Alexys’ face said it all—complete surprise and overwhelming joy. Even in the middle of a crowded space, it felt like the world paused for just the two of them.
Once the rain let up, we stepped outside to soak in the fresh air and walked along the Keyport Marina. The water still sparkled with raindrops, creating a dreamy, reflective glow in the background of their photos. To wrap up the day, we made our way to McDonough’s Pub, a spot that holds special meaning for the couple. It’s one of their favorite places to spend time together, and it was the perfect way to celebrate their engagement.
